  1. Thanks! Perhaps Carol & I will meet you there for tea.

I looked at the post times, and it looks like Bonnie Hughes submitted her answer 6 minutes before I did, so this week’s honor, accolades, parade, and kudos actually belong to Bonnie.

The clue for me was actually the wood and metal framework behind the sign – I thought about which restaurants had recently been built – and that’s when I thought of Epicurious Garden.

PS – I LOVE this contest!

  2. Bonnie actually submitted her guess 6 minutes before Ira, but because she’s a first-time commenter I had to approve the comment before it appeared. So she’s at least a co-winner.

  3. Ira: You are correct. The sign hangs in the rear courtyard of the Epicurious Garden on Shattuck. It’s directing people to the Imperial Tea Court. Congratulations! You are this week’s winner. Take a bow.

  4. I think the tea pot sign is in that place on Shattuck in North Berkeley, whose name I can never remember, that contains Chinese Food, a candy store, ice cream and includes a Tea Shop on an upper level.
