  1. WoW! I do love a challenge! that was good…you raised the bar with that one, I have definitely been in that spot 1000’s of times over the years, on foot, on two wheels and four!

  2. Whenever I see a photo I like, I click on the flickr site to learn more about the photographer or group.

That’s when I realized that http://www.flickr.com/groups/berkeleyside/ asks permission from http://www.flickr.com/groups/guesswhereberkeley/ photographers to use their photo for “Where In Berkeley”

  3. Hard one! But better too hard than too easy! It gives the rest of us a better shot at beating Ira!

  4. But fun! Have you considered doing it more often? Continue the Wednesday 9 am WIB, and a second WIB popping up at random times during the rest of the week.

  5. Ira Serkes: Not correct (first time we’ve had to say that to you!).

Perhaps we went a bit far with this one — we concede it’s very difficult — but you guys are usually so good!

  6. I haven’t a clue, but the stucco color reminds me of the building which houses Pollo to the west and once housed a copy shop to the east .. and a Go Club upstairs.

North Side of what was once the RR Depot – Shattuck/Addison/Shattuck/Center.

  7. Ms. V: You’re right that this is a very art deco decorative feature, but it’s not on the Library. Keep guessing… although we concede this is a particularly tough one!
