I went for my first hike up the fire trail there, and the cactii stuck out at me. Partly b/c my friend thought they were hallucinogenic, but the woman who lived there said that they were her husband’s passion, and to the best of her knowledge they are just prickly.

  3. This reminds me of a house in my neighborhood, on the corner of I think Channing and Roosevelt? Near Washington School.

  4. I don’t recognize it at all but I have a wild guess.   I’m not sure what the proper name for it is…. that CAL botanical garden thing up in strawberry canyon?
